Rikke Gillespie

CFO & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Rikke Gillespie is a trusted leader and advisor with more than a decade of experience in financial planning and analysis, modeling and restructuring. She has expertise in interim management, capital structure review, bankruptcy consulting and preparation, collateral evaluation, liquidity analysis, valuation, cash management and process improvement.

She not only advises companies going through critical transitions such as bankruptcy or restructuring, but works with her clients every step of the way through the process. That’s what she likes best about working at Larx: the team doesn’t just advise from afar and expect a business to succeed on its own, it works side-by-side with clients to achieve – and often exceed – their goals.

Rikke enjoys a good challenge and being surrounded by motivated and intelligent professionals. When she’s not helping her clients, she loves spending time with her family, traveling and enjoying the great outdoors.

Before joining Larx Advisors, Rikke was the director of FP&A for Hostess Brands, Inc.  In this role she was responsible for the organization’s annual operating plan, as well as working with the management team to prepare all deliverables to the board of directors. Additionally, she performed various ad hoc analyses to monitor the performance of each product, customer and distribution channel, and worked with the sales and marketing teams to ensure profitability prior to the launch of each new product and marketing program.

Prior to Hostess Brands, Rikke was a director in the corporate finance practice with FTI Consulting, Inc. During her time with FTI she represented various parties, including lenders, debtors, and creditors’ committees in bankruptcy matters and out-of-court restructurings. Notable engagements she was involved in include Lear Corporation (engaged by the secured creditors), Capmark Financial Group, Inc. (engaged by the secured creditors), TriDimension Energy, L.P. (engaged by the debtor), Reichmann Petroleum Corp. (engaged by the debtor), a health insurance company with approximately $740 million in revenue (engaged by the lending group), a global government service provider with approximately $3.7 billion in revenue (engaged by the company)  and a packaging company with approximately $575 million in revenue (engaged by the lending group) .

Before joining FTI Consulting, Rikke worked at EMC Mortgage, a subsidiary of Bear Stearns. Her responsibilities included monitoring and reporting on the daily loan activity across portfolios and analyzing the impact of various loan portfolio acquisitions. Before that, she worked as an accountant at Utah State University, where she managed all accounting functions within the Family, Consumer and Human Development department.
