Erik Toth

CEO & Managing Partner

Erik is a founding partner of Larx Advisors with nearly two decades of finance leadership and advisory experience in industries ranging from aerospace to technology to healthcare. He has been instrumental in helping businesses and private equity portfolios as large as $4 billion in the areas of growth, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and turnarounds.

As a former NASA engineer who worked in Mission Control for the Space Shuttle program, Erik enjoys solving problems that clients perceive as insurmountable. The gratitude he receives from helping these businesses and individuals reach their goals is what makes his work so satisfying.

Prior to starting Larx Advisors, Erik was the divisional CFO for a reporting segment of DynCorp International. In this role, he was responsible for the financial oversight of the $1.2 billion DynAviation portfolio of 30+ contracts with 7,000+ employees and subcontractors in 18 countries. He was a member of the executive leadership team for the Cerberus Capital Management-owned government defense company with publicly traded debt. Erik also held the position of vice president of enterprise project accounting which had accounting oversight of DynCorp’s $4 billion portfolio of contracts. He was responsible for the management and oversight of government audits of the company’s business systems.

Erik was a director of corporate finance with FTI Consulting, Inc., a global financial consulting company, where he helped lead successful turnarounds, supported private equity-backed transactions and advised financial institutions. He held a financial management role at private equity-owned portfolio companies including Delta Tucker Holdings, a $4 billion revenue company formed by Cerberus Capital Management to acquire DynCorp International, a leading global government services provider in support of U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives. He also held a financial management role at Lineage Power Corporation, a $500 million revenue company formed by The Gores Group to acquire Tyco Electronics Power Systems, a leading manufacturer of power conversion and back-up systems for the telecom industry.

Prior to FTI, Erik worked in the aerospace and defense industry as a mechanical systems engineer for the NASA space shuttle program. He also worked in the Middle Market Business Strategy group at Dell Inc. Erik completed Green Belt training in Dell’s global business process improvement (Six Sigma) methodology and used the DMAIC(R) approach to develop a new account transition framework for the middle market sales division.

Erik is also the owner of Fall River Ventures, a private investment firm that owns businesses in Texas, California, and Hawaii. He is responsible for portfolio company operational oversight and strategy.
